What happen with us when the time goes on?...


I like this story a lot... but I think it is a little of bit sad the end of it... I can see that the man was very boring and kind of stupid because he never listened to her wife. He seemed to be in another world all the time... and this is something common for a long marriage, its for this reason that you have to always take care your love, your passion, and your thoughts... The activity of this short is story is to create a new end for the story... Well I think that this end could be been better...


When the lady saw the cat in the garden, the woman realized that the poor animal was suffering just like her, because both were alone in their world, so she told to her husband what she was felling inside of her heart at that moment... The man after heard what his wife told him, he could see that he could help her, because he still loved her... so he downstairs and took the little kitty with softness just if that kitty was the beautiful heart of his wife



When I make reference to the heart, I mean the relationship of love of the couple.

Five Boons of Life

I read the short story and I think that this is a very interesting story. Now... I have to answer the following question:

What would I have chosen if I had been the protagonist of the story?

I think that I would had chosen the gift of Love... because I think that is better have love once in your life, and then probably loose it, than never have it at all... A life without love is a empty life, you have to know what love is because this feeling is, in my opinion, the most beautiful feelings of the entire world. I don't know if the rest of my partners agree with me, but everyone who had had the oportunity to experiment the love, the friendship, or anything like these, should have the same opinion...

...This is the picture that I selected because I think that this is the most clear image of real love, purity and inocence....

The Gift of the Magi

After had read the short story "The Gift of the Magi" is necessary answer the following question...

What would I have done if I had been on him or her shoes? and Why?

Well... for me is very difficult choose a present or a gift for any member of my family, specially for my fiance and my son because I'm always thinking in something better for him, but if I have to think in What would I have done if I had been in that situation, I imagine that I would have done the same thing that they did. Why??? Perhaps because all the things that we have are just material things, and for me there are not very important, the really important for my life is my family and what they feel and what they will feel in the near future...

The Tell - Tale Heart

This is the first short story that we had to read,
so this is my comment....
The paragraph that we have to analyse is the following:

"The officers were satisfied. My manner had convinced them. I was singularly at ease. They sat, and while I answered cheerily, they chatted of familiar things. But, ere long, I felt myself getting pale and wished them gone. My head ached, and I fancied a ringing in my ears: but still they sat and still chatted. The ringing became more distinct: --It continued and became more distinct: I talked more freely to get rid of the feeling: but it continued and gained definiteness --until, at length, I found that the noise was not within my ears."

I think the guilt felt by the guy was proper for a person who committed a murder, and the fear that he repesents too. It has to be something horrible recognize that the ringing was't inside of their hears, but despite that he continues doing and pretending to be a person who is not real.
